Finn Demuth and Tycco Giametti, St. Ignatius Prep: They're back. In a 5-0 shutout over rival Sacred Heart Cathedral. Demuth stretched it out to 84 pitches with 5 IP, 0R, 2H, 8K and a W. Giometti 2 clean IP, 0R, 2K, and a S for the southpaw.

John Ferreira, Capuchino: In closing out the 7-6 win over Carlmont 4.1 IP, 3H, 0R, 1K, 2BB, 57 pitches, and a W.

Jackson Flanagan, Menlo School: He does it again with a CG 6H shutout against Mills. He gets His sixth win of the season and keeps his team atop the PAL Ocean Division

Anthony Kabrich and Jimmy Zaharias, Menlo Atherton: Not the usual suspects but when the Bears are hot. In a relief-effort win over Sequoia, they came in for Wes Peterson. Kabrich 3IP, 0R, 2K, W. Zaharias (we call him the Zebra) 1 IP, 2K and a S.

Kai Kung, Half Moon Bay: The Piano man returns -- and just in time for the home stretch. In Game 1 over Woodside, 7 IP, 3H, 0R, 6K, 99 pitches. And a W.

Nate Lafon, Mills: In a controversial 11-inning loss to Menlo, he gave up a leadoff homer to Jack Freehill then went 7 IP, 99 pitches, 6K, 1R in another no-decision performance.

Declan Mendal, Capuchino: The scoreless inning streak continues although he doesn't even know when it started. He has three straight shutouts. In a 7-0 series-sweeping victory over Carlmont he went 7 IP on 71 pitches. Great defense and 1K. He wins his fifth game of the season and lowers his ERA to 0.27 -- the fifth best in the CCS and tops in the Bay Division.

Quinn Middleton, Sacred Heart Cathedral: In a 4-3 win against Marin Catholic 7IP, 6 K, 6H, 3R and 90 pitches. Also notched his fourth W of the season.

Jesus Olivas, San Mateo: Big work week for Jesus. Combined in 2 Games 11 IP, 4H, 2R, 12K, 9BB, and 175 pitches.

Adi Shanker and Dalton Kane, Aragon: Shanker 6 IP, 8K, 1R, 2H, W. Kane 2 IP, 1H, 0R, 6K, S.

Toby Trotter, The King's Academy: "He shoved," said Nate Plata, his battery mate. 6 IP, 8H, 3R, 6K, 94 pitches in W over Burlingame.

Valley Christian strikes again. Quinten Marsh, Rohan Kosanagottu, and Brock Ketelsen combine for their eighth shutout of the season with a 5-0 win over Washington of Freemont.

Nate Werbinski, Carlmont: In his best effort of the year, the sophmore went 4 1/3 innings, allowed 2R and kept his team in the ballgame against a powerful Capuchino lineup.

Liam Widner, Menlo School: In a no-decision loss to Sequoia, he went 5 IP with 5K and 0R on 84 pitches.
