Coach: Jordan Paroubeck

2024 Record: 14-13

Menlo-Atherton has everything coach Jordan Paroubeck knows is needed to compete in the PAL: Pitching, defense up the middle and athleticism.

“To answer in black and white, yes, I like our team’s chances,” Paroubeck said. “When a team has good arms, they are in a position to make a run.”

But in the pitching-rich PAL Bay Division, a lot of teams can make that claim. Ultimately, it’s going to come down to offense. The Bears top three returning bats provide them with the opportunity to compete.

Junior second baseman Ryder Kelly hit .329 with 11 runs scored and 14 RBI last year, while outfielder and pitcher Jack Molise hit .309 with 15 runs and 11 RBI and utilityman Ronan Cutright turned in a .295 season with 10 runs and 10 RBI.

The pitching staff might not have a clear-cut ace, but several arms will combine for innings. Last season, Wes Peterson was dominant in the closer role with four saves and 0.99 earned-run average.
