Sacred Heart graduated the vast majority of last year’s 15-13 team, but coach Gregg Franceschi returns three starters who will be the likely building blocks this year.
Senior Quinn Middleton will rotate between the outfield and the mound, while juniors Zach Stallworth and Jacob Vines will be counted on for innings, too. Stallworth was 5-4 with a 3.20 earned-run average last year, while Vines, also a catcher, struck out 20 hitters in 16 innings of work and had a 2.57 ERA.
Outfielder Rohan Kahns and infielders Santino Baisman and Jeremy Marquez all hit better than .300 last year in coming off the bench last year and will likely move into starting roles.
Junior infielder Tedford Lewis hit .429 at the JV level last year, while Cooper Rogers-Lewis was 2-1 with a 1.88 ERA for the JV team in 2024. Infielder Max Matthews provides some speed to the Sacred Heart lineup.
